"Many are the plans of a mans heart, but it is the Lords purpose that prevails" -Proverbs 19:21

I worry and plan so much, but I always forget that it is the Lords purpose that prevails, not my own. It is so easy to say that I trust in God but if I trusted Him I would not be anxious about anything. My life would be SO MUCH easier! God is teaching me that I really need to trust him in every area of my life. He is in control and He only wants what is best for me! He loves me more than I will ever know. So why do I worry?!

Jesus, help me trust you!

change.

Yay for Fall. I know everyone is saying that but theres something so wonderful about going into a new season. Everything changes.

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!" Isaiah 43:18

Change is good. New things are good.
I am going through a lot of change in my life right now.
One- a new home. God is doing great things here but, its so different. Thankfully God has helped me to adjust well. Also I think God has really drawn me to himself through all of this craziness. It seams, I have more time to spend with him now a-days. :)
Two- I am getting older. I'm growing up and I'm a little bit scared of it but, at the same time SO ready for it. Haha.
Anyways.
Fall.is.here. ! :)

"Its a long a rugged road, and we don't know
where its headed....And when we find what we're
looking for we'll drop these bags and search no more
cause its gonna feel like heaven when were home!"

a breath of fresh air.

I walked out the door early this morning and I could smell fresh winter air. Sigh... It is beautiful out there. I cant wait for Fall/Winter festivities to begin.

1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.

2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD -

3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,
or decide by what he hears with his ears;

4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy,
with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.

5 Righteousness will be his belt
and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling
together;
and a little child will lead them.

7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11: 1-9
This is Jesus. The shoot come up from the stump of Jesse.
I pray these things in my life. I pray that the spirit of the Lord will rest on me. I want the spirit of wisdom and of knowledge. And I want to delight in the fear of the Lord. I want to be like my Jesus.
